We went down the coast to the tide pools at the James V. Fitzgerald marine reserve. If you ever want to do this and this may sound obvious, make sure the tides are out when you go. You can actually go online and look it up when it will be. It depends on a number of factors such as the moon and the time of the year.

Tide pool are really cool, kinda like the ocean brought to you. I was so excited to see limpets, turban snail, purple shore crab, hermit crab, ochre star, goose barnacles and many other creatures. It was an exciting day!
